Call of Duty Announces WWE Crossover for Warzone, MW3 Season 5

What to Expect

Activision's teaser, posted on the Call of Duty X account, hints at a "smackdown," referencing WWE's flagship show. The teaser doesn't reveal which WWE stars will appear in the game. The shadows of three wrestlers are shown, with one potentially being Roman Reigns due to the shadow's top knot hairstyle.

Fans are speculating about the WWE characters that might be included. Given the partnership, it's likely that current WWE stars will be featured rather than former stars like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who would require a more extensive campaign due to his Hollywood fame.

Upcoming Season Details

Typically, Activision releases a season roadmap about a week before the new season starts. Therefore, fans can expect more details about the WWE crossover and other new content soon. This exciting collaboration continues Activision's trend of incorporating popular franchises into Call of Duty, following recent partnerships with Fallout, Gundam, Cheech and Chong, and Diablo.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. Players are eagerly waiting for the WWE content to drop on July 24, hoping for a thrilling new addition to the game.
