World of Warcraft's Season of Discovery Phase 4 is Now Live!

World of Warcraft's latest update brings Season of Discovery Phase 4 and along with it a ton of new content and features for players of the classic MMORPG to play and experience.

Some of the changes in the new patch are the new level 60 cap, new class runes, the Molten Core raid dungeon, and many more. Players will also get access to all Classic Zones and will be able to collect Epic Mounts.

There is a new World Buff for Alliance characters who are already at max level and is known as "Might of Stormwind." It increases hit points by 300, gives a 15% haste to melee attacks, and 10 mana regen every five seconds. One thing to note is that this particular buff will not stack with Warchief's Blessing.

The Discoverer's Delight buff has also been updated and levels one to 49 will have 150% increased experience gained while levels 50 to 59 will get 50% increased experience gained, according to MMORPG.

Each class will also be able to discover new runes and unlock a new Cloak gear slot. The Tarnished Undermine Real is a new currency that players can earn from most non-rare dungeon bosses over level 55 once per day. They can be used to purchase a variety of materials, items, and more.

There are also some class adjustments that are included in the new update, with many getting experience changes such as select runes becoming baseline abilities and new runes becoming available.

Updates to profession and reputation are also coming with new and enhanced profession recipes for Argent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, Hydraxian Waterlords, and Timbermaw Hold.

Additionally, Blacksmith and Leatherworking profession specializations will be interchangeable for a free sometime post-launch of Season of Discovery Phase 4.

Some dungeon updates include adjusted rewards and some new dungeons are now available at level 60. These include Blackrock Depths (2nd half), Blackrock Spire, Dire Maul (3 wings), Scholomance, Stratholme, and a new mystery dungeon, said Blizzard News.

A Ton of New Content

The new World Event, Blackrock Eruption, is also making its way to World of Warcraft where the raw power of Ragnaros' summoning is causing an upheaval in Blackrock Mountain.

You will be able to experience more of the story behind this development and also take part in the recurring events and associated quests.

There is also a new Raid Lockout interval for Phase 4 that will occur regularly once a week for Molten Core and two times a week on static reset days for Onyxia's Lair, Lord Kazzak, and Azuregos.

With all of the stuff that Season of Discovery Phase 4 is bringing to World of Warcraft, it is not hard to believe that the update could cause some bugs to appear. This is particularly true of glitches that have started to show up in other Classic Era realms.

One of the issues is that the Might of Stormwind buff has been seen appearing on Classic Era and Hardcore realms, where it shouldn't be available. Warlock's Rain of Fire has also become an instant cast spell where it was supposed to be a channeled one, according to GameRant.
