Introduction of Basketball and Other Enhancements
Nintendo Switch Sports has expanded its lineup with the addition of basketball, a beloved sport from Wii Sports Resort. This update marks the inclusion of basketball as the eighth event in the game, alongside tennis, bowling, chambara, soccer, volleyball, badminton, and golf, which was added in a previous update.
The update, released today, is the first significant enhancement to Nintendo Switch Sports in over a year, following the February 2023 patch. Players now have the opportunity to experience basketball across all game modes: Play Globally, Play Locally, and Play with Friends.
Detailed Improvements and Availability
Version 1.5.0 also addresses several gameplay issues to enhance overall user experience. Players can now enjoy smoother gameplay and improved functionality. Additionally, a comprehensive trailer showcasing the new features is available for viewing.
The update is now accessible to all Nintendo Switch Sports players at no additional cost.
