Last Epoch just got a massive update with the launch of the Harbingers of Ruins patch that brings a ton of new content to the popular action RPG.
The new update brings improvements, the new Evade mechanic, and dozens of new items for players to loot and collect. Another major feature that was added to the game is the introduction of cycles. These are like seasons and with the latest 1.1 update, it begins with Cycle 1.1.
Last Epoch's Massive 1.1 Update
Last Epoch is introducing Legacy stashes as well as additional characteristics and all previous characters have now been moved to Legacy. This means that if you want to start on the new cycle server, you will have to make a brand-new character.
The other major feature, the introduction of the Evade mechanic, adds a special ability to all classes. It is a new defensive option that will also provide players with a little bit more mobility and it also is different from Dodge as it provides no damage immunity, according to MMORPG.
Regarding the titular Harbingers, players will find the new bosses in each of the 10 timelines and they will come in several different forms. If you are successful in defeating them all, you will gain access to the Pinnacle Boss.
These are extra difficult and challenging objectives that are open for those who are skilled and patient enough to take them on. The 1.1 update also adds the Nemesis system, which gives you choices to make.

You will sometimes find a dead warrior wearing armor and you can choose between either avoiding a fight and changing the potential loot for a future encounter or challenging the Nemesis to try and get the equipment.
Either slay it outright or best it in combat and empower it and the latter means that you will meet the same Nemesis later on but it will be equipped with better versions of the items that it possessed.
A Ton of New Content and Features
The changes that were included in the latest patch were based on feedback from players and the decision seems to be paying off. Last Epoch is currently enjoying a good run on Steam as it recorded a peak player count of tens of thousands of players, said PCGamesN.
On top of these changes, there is also an update to Boss defenses that makes it easier for players to understand just how much damage it is taking.
Bosses will not get shields at certain breakpoints that will decay over time. This would allow DPS builds to have a chance of beating them if they survive long enough.
Another addition in the Harbingers of Ruins update is the new Glyph of Envy that players can use on a less important item for their alts. It will let you skip a timeline, max the stability, and kill the boss to level your alt quickly without having to go through a lot of grinding.
These items can only be found in level 100 zones, which means that it was designed for secondary characters to bring them up to par with your main, according to OneEsports.
