In order to gain access to cloud gaming as well, you will need to be a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and you will most likely need a fast and stable internet connection.

Microsoft also recommends people have a wired connection in order to get the best experience or a 5 GHz wifi connection with 20 Mbps down.

The majority of games from the Xbox Game Pass catalog will be available to stream over the cloud. You can also go and visit the Xbox website and use the "cloud" filter to see a full list of all of the games that are supported by the service, according to GameSpot.

There are more than 25 countries across the globe that support Xbox cloud gaming and players can visit the website and search for their home country to see if they can stream games.

The rollout of Xbox cloud gaming for the Fire TV devices comes after the launch of Xbox cloud gaming in 2022 on some Samsung smart TVs.

Microsoft is also offering Xbox cloud gaming as an option for people who do not own an Xbox console but still want to play games for the device. Right now, the cheapest Xbox unit available is the $300 Xbox Series S, which is a relatively hefty price tag for a lot of people.

The company also said that it does not expect cloud gaming to overtake or replace the traditional hardware-based model. Microsoft noted that it was already working on a new Xbox device right now.

Amazon-Xbox Deal

If you want to get in on the action without forking over the money to buy an actual Xbox console, you can buy the 2023 Fire TV Stick 4K Max or Fire TV Stick 4K which are sold for $59.99 and $49.99, respectively, said ScreenRant.

The new way of playing Xbox Game Pass titles is a low-cost introduction to console gaming for people who are not yet willing to invest in a unit. This is also the perfect time for those who want a portable option to play their Game Pass library titles without having to bring their entire consoles.

In a news post, corporate vice president of Xbox experiences and platforms engineering, Ashley McKissick, said that over the past years, they have been on a journey to deliver cloud gaming to more devices. This would, in turn, also bring access to various games to more people across the globe.

Amazon also posted to confirm that Fire TV Stick compatibility will be rolled out at some point in July, which means that there won't be too long of a wait to enjoy Xbox games, according to GamesRadar.
