Developer Giants Software announced Farming Simulator 25, the latest game in the franchise, which will be coming in November of this year with a Collector's Edition.
More specifically, Farming Simulator 25 will be released on Nov. 12, 2024, and the announcement came with a cinematic reveal trailer. There was also something mentioned called a "USB ignition lock" that lets players insert and turn a real key to "start the engines of in-game tractors."

On top of this, the Collector's Edition will feature a few other bonus items, such as a keychain, a retro soundtrack from composer Chris Hulsbeck, a poster, some stickers, and other stuff.
For now, it is believed that this edition of the game will cost you around $69.99 and the standard edition will be sold for $49.99 on Steam.
Furthermore, Farming Simulator 25 also has a Year 1 Edition that will set you back $79.99 and cover the DLC packs and a map expansion for the latest game in the series.
While the cinematic trailer did not feature any gameplay footage, it gave players a glimpse of what features they can expect in the game, according to PCGamer.
At the beginning of the video, two farmers are intently trying to boil a small pot of rice but fail quite miserably. After this, they decide to backpack across the continent to get to the place where their meal was invented.

The trailer focuses on Asia and the two farmers then get stranded in a downpour where they encounter a water buffalo. The creature leads them to a paddy field where rice is being farmed and the narrator says, "Farmin' is an art."
The two individuals then decided to build a farm and some paddy fields and later can be seen riding a motorcycle around before harvesting their crop and boiling a proper bowl of rice. But lacking flavor, the farmers contemplate getting something else to add to the bowl.
A Variety of New Features and Content
While the trailer of Farming Simulator 25 was somewhat weird in retrospect, or any aspect for that matter, the latest game in the series comes amid high popularity. The franchise has already amassed sales of more than 30 million copies since it first came out in 2008, said ReadWrite.
The additions and changes in the latest game in the franchise include gameplay features, visual improvements, and even freshwater supply to grow rice.
There are three new settings added; the idyllic East Asian landscape, a typical North American environment with vast open space, and a Central European base with ponds and rivers.
In Farming Simulator 25, players can grow two types of rice, spinach, and other new crops, with a choice of more than 20 overall. Many animals have also come to the franchise alongside new production chains and constructions that extend business opportunities.
There are also new tech upgrade features, such as physics that show elemental effects like fog, shadows, ground deformation, and more. The game will have more than 400 authentic vehicles, tools, and items from more than 150 international top brands, according to Gematsu.
