Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Guide To Scadutree Fragments

Elden Ring recently released its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and it has already surpassed expectations and trumped The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine for the highest-rated DLC.

This is despite a lot of players still not being able to access the new content introduced in the new region because of the need to defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood. On the other hand, players who actually are playing the expansion now are getting their hands dirty with everything that Shadow of the Erdtree has to offer.

Finding Scadutree Fragments

One of the things that can be somewhat difficult to find are the Scadutree fragments that are crucial if you want to make your character even stronger. Players have a Scadutree Blessing level that will go up for every fragment that they find, boosting their attack and damage negation stats.

The new Scadutree Blessing level is part of the Shadow Realm Blessing, which is a new mechanic to level up your Elden Ring character. Contrary to leveling up using runes, every Scadutree Blessing will increase your attack and defense by roughly 5%, according to IGN.

The general guide to finding Scadutree Fragments is looking for them at churches or in front of large statues of Marika, at each of the Crosses of Miquella, and are sometimes carried by Shadow Undead that holds large sparkling pots.

The first area that has some Scadutree Fragments is the Gravesite Plain, which has a total of 10 fragments to be found.

Two are at the Church of Consolation, one at the Shadow Jar Scorched Ruins, one at the three-path Cross Site of Grace, one at the main gate Cross Site of Grace, one at Shadow Jar Prospect Town, one at West Belurat Room, one at Castle Front Site of Grace, one at Pillar Path Cross Site of Grace, and one at Castle Ensis.

Exploring Shadow of the Erdtree Areas

In the Southern Shores, there are also a number of Scadutree Fragments that players will be able to locate.

These locations are Cerulean Cross Site of Grace, the cave northeast of Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace, Stone Coffin Fissure, Jagged Peak, and West of Charo's Hidden Grave Site of Grace, said GameRant.

The Scadu Altus also holds some Scadutree Fragments and there are a total of 23 for you to find. Two are at the Statue of Marika in the West, two at Highroad Cross, and four at Moorth Ruins.

There are one each at Scaduview Cross, Shadow Keep Main Gate, Messmer's Dark Chamber, Sunken Chapel, Shadow Keep Back Gate, Recluses' River Upstream, and two at Darklight Catacombs while five can be found at Scaduview in the Scadutree Chalice at the northern point of the area.

There are also five Scadutree Fragments in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh, with three at the eastern part, one at the western part, and one at the Temple Town Ruins.

The Abyssal Woods contains four fragments, one in a corpse north of the Abyssal Woods Site of Grace two at the Church Ruins, and one at the Jagged Peak Mountainside, according to ScreenRant.
