If you've been playing Titanfall like it's your new religion for the last month like I have, then you probably have heard some myths about the game.
"Dude, I totally blew up that dropship with a satchel charge after it had already departed, it was sweet!" your buddy says. "Hogwash," you say, "once the ship is gone it's gone!"
Well, luckily the good folks at DefendTheHouse on YouTube are tackling all of these pressing questions of the titan-dropping public, including the above myth in their second installment.
The discoveries? Pretty cool! The above myth was tested, and the result came back inconclusive. You don't necessarily kill the dropship... you actually kill the whole lobby. The Mythbusters tried it twice, to the same result. The charges blew, and the game bugged out and kicked out the participants. Interesting bug to say the least.
Some other issues tackled in the first two videos? Whether you can eject back to the map from your titan after falling off a ledge (yes), whether electric smoke harms a titan in its dome shield (no), whether a Marvin gets sad when you shoot it (yes), whether the arc cannon destroys rockets (yes) and whether a titanfall can destroy a dropship (yes, but only when it's at ground level).
