Reduced Masterworking Costs
Patch 1.4.1 brings significant reductions in Masterworking costs, starting from Rank 5. Previously, reaching Rank 5 required a hefty 450,000 gold, which has now been lowered to 400,000 gold. The reduction continues with Rank 8, dropping from 1,000,000 to 800,000 gold.
The most drastic change comes with Rank 12, plummeting from an eye-watering 10,000,000 gold to a more manageable 2,500,000 gold. This cumulative reduction of 7,750,000 gold aims to alleviate the burden on players who found themselves grinding excessively to cover Masterworking expenses.
Other Changes in the Update
Aside from addressing Masterworking costs, Patch 1.4.1 introduces several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Notably, the drop rates of Scattered Prisms from Treasure Goblins have been buffed, with a potential 30% chance to drop in World Tier IV. Additionally, World bosses and even The Butcher now guarantee Scattered Prism drops, providing players with more opportunities to obtain these valuable resources.
Furthermore, a pleasant surprise awaits seasoned players who have defeated an Echo of Lilith in previous seasons. The game will retroactively reward these players with a Resplendent Spark as recognition for their achievements.
