Furthermore, the game has also been criticized for poor performance and texture qualities by many players. This is a complaint that has been filed by even those who should be able to run a mobile action RPG with relative ease.

There are blurring textures, which while not disastrous make it a bit rough to see on decent setups. Fortunately, there are now workarounds to this issue, including turning off or tweaking settings such as anti-aliasing, that can improve players' experience.

This is particularly important because mobile players need some sort of fix for the issue as they are seeing vast and significant enhancements to their gaming sessions with a few simple adjustments, according to VG247.

Despite all of these issues and bugs, the open-world RPG games seem to be popping off among players. It became one of the top games being watched on the streaming platform Twitch with roughly 100,000 viewers.

While these bugs are widespread, the team behind the game also published a list of known problems with Wuthering Waves and committed to fixing them quickly. Fans are now hopeful that this is simply one of those classic rough launches and not one of the more permanent negative experiences.

The game is a gacha open-world title that immediately caught the attention of players from HoYoverse's Genshin Impact. Similar to other gacha games, players can pull for weapons and characters, which adds a level of luck to Wuthering Waves.

Wuthering Waves was initially revealed in 2022 and fans have eagerly been waiting for its release. However, with the issues with graphics and audio, they believe that the game was released before it was actually ready, said GameRant.

Addressing Players' Complaints

While there have been many complaints about Wuthering Waves' graphics, many players have complimented the title's combat gameplay. With regards to the audio, some voice lines apparently tend to get cut off when cutscenes end and volume sometimes seemingly drops out on its own for idle voices.

Other players also noted that the English dub sounds stilted and awkward and many are now switching to the Japanese or Chinese audio. There was another player who pointed out an issue where they saw a bizarre animation of climbing stairs.

This is where the lego of your character rises oddly and their upper body does not respond in a normal way to the motion that was being made. Also, the feet visibly clip through some of the steps of the stairs.

The developer, Kuro Games, is also facing complaints about unimplemented NPCs with placeholder dialogue, tails made out of stretched polygons, and an accidental PSA for sunscreen, according to PCGamer.
