Dead by Daylight's Chaos Shuffle Extended Due to Overwhelming Popularity

In Dead by Daylight, there's been a lot of trying new things lately. The game's creators, Behaviour Interactive, have been testing out different stuff, making the game change in surprising ways. They've added new things like different killers and survivors that work in unique ways, and they've tried out some modifiers that change how the game is played. The latest one, Chaos Shuffle, was supposed to end today, but there's been a change of plans.

Trying Out New Stuff

In the past few months, Dead by Daylight has seen some temporary changes that make the game more fun. First, there was Lights Out, which made everything dark and scary. Then, around April Fool's Day, there was My Little Oni, which made the survivors small and the killer big. Now, there's Chaos Shuffle, which adds a lot of randomness and excitement to the game.

How Chaos Shuffle Works

Chaos Shuffle is different because it changes how players pick their perks. Instead of letting players choose their perks, the game picks them randomly, giving players four perks they didn't choose. This makes every game feel different and helps players discover new perks they didn't know about.

Players really like Chaos Shuffle. In just a week, 18 million games have been started with this modifier. People on the game's subreddit love it and hope it stays forever. Although some players have complaints, most think Chaos Shuffle is great. Originally, it was supposed to end today, but Behaviour Interactive announced on X (formerly Twitter) that it's going to keep going.

Chaos Shuffle will now run until Monday, June 3, at 8 am PDT / 11 am EDT / 4 pm BST / 5 pm CEST. This is the first time a game event has been extended just because players are having fun.
