We're only a couple of weeks away from the launch of both The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie and game, and Sony's looking celebrate the occasion by offering a special Amazing Spider-Man PS3 bundle.
Announced today via the official PlayStation Twitter, the bundle will feature a 500GB PS3, a copy of Beenox's Amazing Spider-Man 2, and a digital copy of The Amazing Spider-Man on VUDU for the now-standard PS3 bundle cost of $270.
Sony directs interested customers to go pre-order through Walmart, and that's currently the only major retailer to have the bundle listed. But you've got to figure that your store of choice will have it available soon enough. The bundle is set to ship on the game's release date, April 29.
This bundle gives prospective PS3 owners just another choice, as there's still a 500GB The Last of Us bundle available, as well as the recently-released LEGO: The Hobbit bundle, both for $270.
The last gameplay trailer for ASM 2 looked like Beenox was possibly putting together the best Spider-Man game since Spider-Man 2. The game features improved webslinging, a number of villains both from the new movie and from the comics and an improved Batman: Arkham-style combat system. So for comic fans in need of a PS3, this might be the bundle to jump on.
