Stellar Blade developer Shift Up is considering a PC port and a sequel in response to its success on PlayStation 5. The studio also announced the codename of its new project, Project Witches.

Shift Up Looks into a Stellar Blade PC Port and Sequel
Shift Up discussed their future plans in a recent financial filing, as reported by Gematsu. The report states, "Beyond Stellar Blade, we are developing a new game based on a fresh intellectual property, Project Witches, for release in 2027 or later.
We are also considering a PC version of Stellar Blade and a sequel. We believe that developing new intellectual properties will enable us to grow sustainably compared to other game companies that rely on existing franchises."
The document further explores the potential of a PC port for Stellar Blade. It mentions plans for downloadable content (DLC), new gameplay features, and crossover collaborations. The report highlights the success of franchises like God of War and Final Fantasy as examples of successful PC ports and sequels. "As a result," it reads, "we are exploring the possibility of a PC version of Stellar Blade and a sequel."
New Project 'Project Witches' in Early Development
Project Witches, the new game from Shift Up, is still in its early development stages. The studio expects it to launch in 2027 or later. This game will be available on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. Shift Up describes Project Witches as a "major subculture IP," comparing it to popular games like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Fate/Grand Order, and Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
