It also gives players the chance to unlock new abilities, find new outfits for the protagonist, Eve, and many more. After finishing the last main quest in the game, Project EVE, players will receive a notification that lets them know that New Game Plus has been unlocked.

When players start a new playthrough in the newly unlocked mode, there are a variety of features that will be carried over.

These include all of Eve's skills and the drone's upgrades, current levels of HP, Beta Energy, gold, and exp, the number of Tumblers, all outfits, exospine, pieces of gear, and accessories, and logs, documents and cans, according to IGN.

After beating the game at any difficulty, players unlock Hard Mode and a unique outfit if they beat the game in New Game Plus. In the more challenging mode, the player will deal low damage while enemies will have their power greatly increased.

When you start your new playthrough in Stellar Blade's New Game Plus, regardless of the difficulty, you will be able to find more than 30 new costumes, unlock 12 new skills for the Beta and Burst skill trees, and unlock five new abilities for Adam's drone.

Additionally, players will be able to keep upgrading Eve's weapon's damage, gear level, and how many Tumblers that can be carried at the same time. One thing to note is that all of the costumes you can find, except those that are bought, can be found in the same locations as before.

In particular, those who are looking for even more challenges can run through Hard Mode in New Game Plus. This offers players upgraded versions of Eve's equipment that are labeled Mk2 and boasts superior stats to help you in combat in trying to beat the game, said The Gamer.

Censorship Controversy

This nifty feature of the game solidifies its position as one of the best modern games and follows a controversy surrounding censorship in some regions. This came after the developers announced that Stellar Blade would launch "uncensored" in all regions.

Fans later found out that the day one patch for the game apparently censored some of the game's features, primarily Eve's outfits. This caused an uproar with some players even demanding a refund for their purchase.

One of the main outfits in question is the bunny swimsuit, where a layer of lace was added in the patch to cover up some of the protagonist's cleavage. Also, the outfit's fabric cut was changed to cover up more of her hips.

Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung-tae said during an interview at the launch that the development team was considering rolling back that particular part of the update. He added that they were discussing the matter internally, according to Kotaku.
