The game is all about a crab going on a grand quest to retrieve his shell and encountering a slew of challenges along the way. Despite being another soulslike clone, it sets itself apart with its witty sense of humor, beautiful underwater visuals, and a much more accessible formula.
A More Accessible Soulslike Game

The distinction between Another Crab's Treasure and other games in the subgenre is apparent with its crustacean hero, Kril. The protagonist is immediately dropped into a world filled with murderous sealife and oil slicks that are all presented in primary colors.
Even when the player sees mountains of junk littered across the seafloor, the view is still very colorful and serves as your currency in the form of microplastics. You can also snag some items to use as equipment, such as shot glasses and soggy tennis balls, according to The Verge.

The launch comes as last year, a TikTok video by the studio immediately got players' attention for showing Another Crab's Treasure's assist features. But the one thing that was most noticeable was that the game has a gun that can kill enemies in one shot, according to the New York Times.
