Galaeth Games' Seren Nova drops players into the Seren solar system, casting them as the lone pilot standing between peace and the nefarious Brenin's plans. With seven levels of top-down space action, it's a nod to classic console games like N64 and PS1 favorites. Think Desert Strike meets Command & Conquer, spiced up with Buck Rogers vibes.

Breaking the Mold
What sets Seren Nova apart is its diverse cast and quirky storytelling. Two non-binary characters, alongside a charming robot puppet, add flair to the game's live-action cutscenes. Lead character Aderyn, portrayed as transgender, and the evil Brenin, who's non-binary, bring a fresh perspective to gaming's character roster.
Made with Heart
Crafted on a shoestring budget and mostly from recycled PC parts, Seren Nova is the brainchild of Galaeth Games' founder, Llewelyn. Over a year, they poured everything into the game's creation, from coding and graphics to scriptwriting, acting, and editing. It's a labor of love that showcases Galaeth Games' commitment to creativity and innovation.
"At Galaeth Games, we're all about mixing things up," Llewelyn shared during the private launch. "Seren Nova blends gaming with live-action scenes and puppets, carving out a unique path in the gaming world."
Embracing Heritage
Rooted in Galaeth Games' Welsh background, Seren Nova draws inspiration from Welsh folklore and ancient languages. Planet and character names echo this heritage, adding depth to the game's universe.
