Developers from Ghost Ship Games, the minds behind the popular co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic, took a proactive step towards initiating a collaboration with Arrowhead Studios, the creators of Helldivers 2. The move comes amidst ongoing comparisons between the two games from fans and critics alike.

The Invitation Extended
During the Twitch stream, developers Aaron, Mark, and Jacob from Ghost Ship Games openly expressed their interest in collaborating with Arrowhead Studios. Despite having previously reached out via email without a response, the team decided to take a more direct approach by streaming themselves playing Helldivers 2 and extending a public invitation to Arrowhead for collaboration.
One developer declared during the stream: 'Arrowhead, what are you guys doing? Please answer our email - let's talk, let's put our heads together and see if we can cook something up.' Consider this our little invite to you."
Persistent Comparisons
Comparisons between Deep Rock Galactic and Helldivers 2 have been rampant since the launch of the latter last month. Both games, known for their cooperative gameplay mechanics, have drawn similarities in discussions among fans and reviewers, prompting the recent efforts for collaboration.
