While we're still waiting on more news for what comes next in the Deus Ex universe, Mac gamers at least get the opportunity to play catch up. Feral Interactive announced today that the Director's Cut of Adam "I didn't ask for this" Jensen's adventure is now up for grabs for fruity Apple fans, and only through Steam.
Containing all of the game's previously released DLC - The Missing Link, Tong's Rescue Mission, and Tactical Enhancement - the Director's Cut is a worthwhile pick up for anyone that's never bothered to play Human Revolution, especially at a minimal $19.99.
Beyond the included DLC, the Director's Cut makes several improvements to the original version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution including overhauled boss fights (which were a bit difficult the first time around), reinforced combat mechanics, and improved enemy AI. Visual upgrades are also a joy, as improvements have also been made to textures, lighting, fog, and shadows.
With the game's availability through Steam, achievements, leaderboards, and all the other staples like save game synchronization are all supported.
