Le Mans Ultimate will be available on Steam for £24.99 / €29.99 / $32.99 on February 20, with an early access edition available at launch for a reduced price. Studio 397 emphasizes a "collaborative process" with the community during Early Access, providing regular updates on builds, bug fixes, new features, and quality-of-life improvements.
Early access users gain exclusive access to forums, surveys, events, and the opportunity to shape the game's future by suggesting ideas to the developers.
Toyota GR010 Confirmed Yet Remaining Cars Unseen
A recent teaser showcased the Toyota GR010 at Portimao, offering a glimpse of the game's visual quality. However, notable absentees include footage of the Cadillac V-Series.R and the Glickenhaus SCG 007 LMH. Despite the unexpected shift to Early Access, this decision aligns with Motorsport Games' ongoing financial challenges, ensuring a smoother user experience by addressing any potential flaws and optimizing the game for PC before the official release.
Dom Duhan, Head of Studio 397, emphasized the significance of launching in Early Access, stating, "Launching features and content only when ready and up to the high standards we set ourselves."
Supercars and Courses
Le Mans Ultimate boasts an impressive lineup, featuring every Hypercar, LMP2, and GTE class car from the 2023 season. Hypercars from Cadillac, Ferrari, Glickenhaus, Peugeot, Porsche, Toyota, and Vanwall make their debut in a racing game. The meticulously reconstructed laser-scanned courses include iconic tracks like Circuit de la Sarthe, Sebring, Portimão, Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Fuji, Bahrain, and more.
For now, Le Mans Ultimate is exclusive to PCs, with potential console releases contingent on sales. Versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are unlikely before 2025, as the final release date remains unconfirmed.
