Palworld players have found a nasty problem that was causing them to have reduced capture rates. This is due to a bug that involved the use of a certain medicine that is supposed to bring good things, but is actually doing the opposite.
What Bug?
So, what is this bug that caused Palworld players to clamor for a fix? Well, it involves the use of the Memory Reset Drug and how it affects Lifmunk Effigies.
For those who do not know, the Memory Reset Drug is a usable medicine in Palworld that effectively resets the player's stats, so they can respec to try out new builds if they want to.
On the other hand, Lifmunk Effigies are collectible items that increase the player's chance of capturing new Pals.
With that said, there was an issue that made Lifmunk Effigies provide the opposite effect. Instead of increasing the chances of getting Pals, they actually lower the capture rate of these creatures. This is evidenced by a video posted by Chalenor.
Some players took to Reddit to voice their concerns. Redditor ChildrenofYggdrasil said that everything was fine until they started catching Pals recently.
Another Redditor said that they collected eight effigies but still struggled to catch Pals that were 12 levels lower than them.
