Path of Exile's Affliction League is one of the best in terms of making tons of currency in the game. That is largely due to the league mechanic where players can "juice up" their maps, which results in various "loot explosions" that can occur at any point during a map run.
If you want to know how to take advantage of the current league mechanic, then you have come to the right place!
Enter the Woods
To understand what I am talking about, you have to know what the current league mechanic is. In Path of Exile Affliction League, players can enter some forest that is shrouded in darkness. This place is called the Viridian Wildwood. The portal that leads to this area can be found near the entrance of the map.
Once you enter the Viridian Wildwood, you will come across Wisps that have different colors. You should really only concern yourself with the Blue Wisps as they increase the quantity of loot that can be dropped by monsters.
Speaking of which, you only have a limited amount of time inside the Viridian Wildwood before you get ported out of there. That is why you have to use a fast build that can zoom across the forest to collect as many Blue Wisps as possible.

Then What?
After you take the portal out of the Viridian Wildwood, the Wisps you have collected will inhabit random monsters on the map. The affected monsters are tougher to beat. How challenging they are to eliminate depends on the amount of Blue Wisps you have taken from the forest.
That said, to maximize the effect of the Blue Wisps, you have to "juice up" your maps by using Cartographer's Chisels to increase their quality and Vaal Orbs to corrupt them. The latter may result in maps that have a lot more modifiers that increase monster pack size, which is what you are aiming for.
Next, you should use at least a couple of Delirium Orbs to further raise the monsters you have to fight on a given map.
It goes without saying that doing all of the above can make map monsters harder to slay. Therefore, only do this if you have a character that is capable of demolishing enemies without breaking a sweat.
