Remedy Entertainment has just released update 1.15 for Alan Wake 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, delivering highly requested features that enhance player experience. The update introduces Chapter Select and allows players to customize the game's spookiness level.

Chapter Select
The standout addition in this update is the Chapter Select feature, accessible from the game's main menu. Players can now choose to replay any mission they have previously unlocked, loading into a pre-made save game that aligns with the selected mission. This not only streamlines gameplay but also facilitates the collection of missed items or achievements, offering a more flexible and enjoyable gaming experience.
Remedy advises players to keep at least one manual save with their previous progression if they wish to retain it while utilizing the Chapter Select feature.
Spookiness Options Introduced
Acknowledging player feedback, Remedy responds with a significant enhancement - the ability to customize the intensity of horror elements. With update 1.15, players can choose between Low and Normal horror flash visual and audio intensity.
