Palworld is an open-world survival game developed by Pocketpair. In this game, you can catch and tame "Pals" which are creatures that can help you with a lot of things; from transporting items to mining resources for you automatically.
That being said, one of the resources that you need to farm is ore. If you are new to Palworld, you might not know how to farm ores more effectively. Luckily for you, I will provide you with some useful tips to help you get started.
What is It?
Before anything, what is ore exactly? Ore in Palworld is an essential resource used in crafting various tools and constructing new structures. You can farm ore yourself by equipping a pickaxe and hacking the large, reddish-brown rocks that you can find in multiple locations on the map.
Speaking of which, Ore Deposits can be found abundantly around the mountains or near the Desolate Church in the early stages of the game.

How to Farm Ore Effectively
Even though you can farm ore yourself, there is a much more effective way to obtain the said resource. To accomplish that, you will have to do a few things.
First, construct a couple of Primitive Furnaces. You can unlock the tech at Level 10 by spending some Technology Points. Each furnace requires 20 pieces of wood, 50 stones, and about 10 Flame Organs to build. After establishing the furnaces, put some Pals with the "Kindling" ability like Foxparks or Roobys to operate them. To do this, simply interact with the furnace and select the appropriate Pals. With that out of the way, you can now use the Primitive Furnace to automatically convert two ores into one Ingot.
Second, establish another base near the Ore Deposits and put two Storage Boxes and a Feed Bin so that your resource-gathering Pals can get some Ore for you.
Third, interact with the Pal Management System. Under the "Pals at the base" section, populate the slots with Pals that both have Mining and Transporting abilities, such as:
-
Anubis
-
Depresso
-
Dumud
-
Fuddler
-
Incineram
-
Penking
-
Tombat
Once everything is set, the Pals that you have assigned to mining will automatically gather ores for you. Some of the ores will be turned into Ingots, while the rest will be stored in the Storage Boxes that you have previously constructed. The Feed Bin ensures that your Pals are fed while they work.
