For this feature, we are shining the light on a game that lets you leap between worlds and even combine or manipulate them. It's a creative take on adventure puzzles game known as Cocoon.

Released on September 29, 2023, Cocoon is developed by Geometric Interactive and published by Annapurna Interactive. It is designed by Jeppe Carlsen, who is best known for being the leady gameplay designer of Inside and Limbo.
As previously mentioned, the game is all about leaping between worlds. However, these worlds do not come in the form of planets like Earth or Mars. Instead, each of these worlds exist within an orb that you actually carry on your back.
Cocoon is a puzzle game and, in order to solve the puzzles you'll encounter, you will have to combine, manipulate, and even rearrange these worlds.
Do take note that each orb has a special ability that you can unlock. These special abilities will make it easier for you to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.

Expect Battles
Yes, you read that right. Defeat enemies.
While Cocoon is mainly a puzzle game, you can expect a lot of adventure too. In fact, each world is protected by a guardian that you have to defeat in battle.

Steam Reviews for Cocoon
Cocoon has more than 3,400 user reviews on Steam as of press time. These reviews are generally described as "Overwhelmingly Positive" by the platform.
"Cocoon is an adventure puzzle game focused on atmosphere and gameplay," user TurtleSwift says in a review. "There is no text, no spoken words, just you and your controller. There's hardly even a menu."
"It manages to tell its story through locations and actions rather than the traditional method of text or voice," TurtleSwift adds. "Though it does rely on the players imagination to fill in the gaps."
"One of the most mind-blowing games I've ever experienced," The Flying Red Robot says in a separate user review. "Not particularly hard, but EXTREMELY creative and unique, especially in regards to the gameplay mechanics and environment and level design."
