Palworld: A Blend of Cute and Cruel
Palworld, a Pokemon-like open-world game, will enter Early Access on January 19, 2024. The game will also hit Xbox Game Preview and Game Pass simultaneously.Palworld'score pitch of "Pokemon, but with guns" will immediately turn heads. It will be a creature-collecting survival game that will also function as a creature-shooter, creature-besieger, and all-around creature-destroyer.
The game will enter Early Access with over 100 Pals, 350 items, and 70 types of buildings. Its Steam page will also spell out surprisingly grim automation systems where Pals will "keep working as long as they're fed - until they're dead, that is".
Enshrouded: A Robust Action RPG
Five days after Palworld's debut, Enshrouded will start its Steam Early Access journey on January 24, 2024. Enshrouded will be a cooperative survival crafting action RPG. Players will survive in a fallen kingdom consumed by an evil fog, the Shroud. They will fight wild beasts and fearsome bosses, construct grand halls, shape their homestead's terrain, and forge their warriors with diverse equipment and a huge, open skill tree. The game will be praised during the latest Steam Next Fest as "Valheim meets Dark Souls."
