A Bunch of Beloved Pokémon Has Returned in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's 'Indigo Disk' DLC
The much-awaited "Indigo Disk" DLC for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is now available on Nintendo Switch. Aside from new content, a plethora of beloved Pokémon has returned, including Bulbasaur, Blastoise, and so much more.
Enter the Academy
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk DLC takes players to the Blueberry Academy, where they will meet a new character named Snacksworth. This academy staff member grants players the ability to fight and capture Legendary Pokémon by providing some special snacks.
Speaking of which, new and returning Legendary Pokémon can only be encountered after completing the tasks issued by the Blueberry Academy. The special snacks mentioned earlier will be given to players as a reward.
There are about 25 Legendary Pokémon in the Paldea Region, so players will have their hands full over the Holidays as they engage with the new content that the Indigo Disk DLC has to offer.
Now, the Blueberry Academy is actually pretty huge. It has an exclusive area called the "Terarium" where numerous species of Pokémon can be found. It consists of several sub-areas, including a canyon, coastal, savannah, and freezing polar biomes. Those who want to capture some water Pokémon can spend time in the polar region, for example.

Take Control
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk DLC also introduces a lot of exciting new features. Want to take full control of a Pokémon? If so, you want to head to the Terarium and unlock the Synchro Machine.
The Synchro Machine lets players port their minds into their chosen Pokémon, allowing them to go to areas using Pikachu or other Pokémon that are available in their current rosters. Before they can use this feature, though, players will have to complete a side quest in Terarium.
Another nifty feature is the "Free Flight" mode that players can unlock just by progressing through the DLC's campaign. As the name implies, this feature enables players to fly high in the sky using Miraidon and Koraidon!
