Size matters, but it's a double edged sword sorta thing. With technology, smaller and sleeker is usually how you wanna go. Phones are an interesting dichotomy, because you still want something smaller of size for easier portability, but with smartphones capable of so much more than just calling, you want a bigger screen for watching movies, playing games, etc. That carries over into console gaming. While nobody wants a giant boxy controller or heavy console, you still want a giant monitor or screen to show off all those purdy HD graphics. In that regard, I don't give two rat farts how big your home TV is, Conan O' Brien has got you beat.
The late night scarecrow was in Texas last week, and in the middle of talking to all those celebrities, O'Brien found time to head out to Dallas' AT&T Stadium to do something that most gamers could only dream of: play video games on the stadium's mammoth DiamondVision screen. Made by Mitsubishi, the screen draped in the stadium actually made history when it was named one of the two largest 1080p HD displays by the 2009 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, measuring 72 by 160 feet.
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct still looks awful on it though.
Luckily, Conan used his opportunity to place some decent games; Madden NFL 25, Need for Speed, Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix, and Flower among them. Check it all out in the video below.
