Another leak makes it to the headlines this week, this time it is an unannounced Avatar: The Last Airbender game for the PlayStation 4. The said leak is first reported by Reddit user Vartux yesterday, August 14, saying that a new ATLA game was accidentally leaked by an Amazon listing in Japan.
Amazon Japan Listing Reveals Unannounced ATLA Game
A report from Nintendo Life shares that an unreleased game called 'Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance' appears to be listed on Amazon Japan way before its release. The website lists a November release date and indicates that it will apparently be available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Many believe that if ever the listings were true, there is a chance that its release date will be moved to a later date.

In the leaked Amazon listing, the said upcoming game is published by game studio GameMill who is also the game publisher of the game 'Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.' Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a multiplayer action game available for the Nintendo Switch, this game received reviews highlighting its 'middling' gameplay that is 'better than bad.'
According to GamePur, if this leak turns out to be true, 'The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance' will be the first console Avatar game since the release of the Legend of Korra game that was released by developer PlatinumGames way back in 2014.
According to the same report, the said 'Korra' game featured a middling combat system, and its development as a game was hindered by a limited dev budget and many time constraints. Some fans are hoping that the upcoming Avatar game will be something fresher.
Meanwhile, users on Reddit have different opinions about the revelation of the said PS4 game. Many were worried that this ATLA game might be another clunky game to be forgotten in the mix. Others, especially Avatar fans were optimistic that this game will actually be a good one.
Developer Confirms: 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Mobile RPG Is in the Works
Meanwhile, just last week, August 13, Square Enix London Mobile and Navigator games made it known to the public that they are currently in the process of developing a free-to-play mobile game that features stories from ATLA's GAang; Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko.
This upcoming open-world RPG called 'Avatar: Generations' is exclusively for mobile and fans can expect its soft launch later this month.
A report from IGN tells us that Avatar: Generations promises a comprehensive upgrade and party customization system through the option to acquire new heroes. Squad-based battles will be present across various adventure sequences.
There will also be DLC that broadens the Avatar universe and explores the tales of earlier and upcoming avatars like Korra, Roku, and Kiyoshi.
It is still unclear if the developers are open to releasing the said game on other platforms. From what the developers have first revealed, this new mobile game is very much like Genshin Impact in terms of mechanics.
