In a recent tweet by Sengoku Gaming, the esports organization wishes well for its released players. The organization also thanked its players for their wonderful performance securing the Japan Wild Rift national securing championship four times and having to qualify for the world championship twice.

As reported by AFK Gaming, even though Sengoku Gaming demonstrated dominance in local competitions, it was unable to replicate that success on a global scale. The Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 squad suffered during the group round, placing third in Group B and missing its place in the knockout round.

Sengoku Gaming to Reveal New Roster Soon

Esports Chimp shares that the second Wild Rift esports season lineup for Sengoku Gaming will have some new faces, so it will be interesting to see who they are. It will be interesting to follow how the Japanese team will be rebuilding its new roster. The international competition for Wild Rift continues to be more competitive as new players and teams continue to introduce amazing gameplays in the recent tournaments.

While this move is in response to a poor outing in an international competition, some may say that these decisions are a little bit too soon. The organization may be banking on a full overhaul of the team in hopes of crafting a title-ready team. But these goals cannot be guaranteed with any newly-assembled team.

There are no further developments yet about the future of the released Sengoku players. It is still unclear if other local and international Wild Rift teams will be interested in signing players from the Sengoku team. Stay updated here with the latest developments about this particular topic.
