Electronic manufacturer OnePlus recently announced that it would be introducing a OnePlus-themed World in Roblox, following a trend of brands advertising their products in the said virtual universe.

A recent report from XDA shares that Oneplus and Transparent House collaborated to construct the virtual theme park. The company included aspects from its smartphone products into the features of the park. For instance, the universe includes charging stations that draw inspiration from the SuperVOOC charging technology for its smartphones, enabling characters to refuel and move faster than they would otherwise be able to.

From the report of OnePlus World, the brand calls it, will feature several games and activities like skydiving, races, treasure hunting, and many more. Along with these fun and exciting games, OnePlus World avatars can be collected and shared with friends. The most exciting part of this recent opening is that the games and activities can help players win OnePlus coupons, which can be exchanged with real-world OnePlus items.

The first 200 players to discover and win these coupons can claim their very own OnePlus earbuds as a prize. In 2021, even the luxury brand Gucci joined in the hype of entering the metaverse. In its partnership with Roblox, the luxury brand built Roblox worlds and rooms appealing like high-fashion runways and galleries. A report from Vogue Business tells us, "Gucci is operating a revenue-share model with Roblox. The clothes can be worn in other Roblox experiences and are conceived as collectibles, says Roblox vice president of brand partnerships Christina Wootton."

According to a report from CNBC, companies like Nike see the significance of the metaverse's capacity to engage with a new generation of athletes and win their affection for the brand, which can eventually translate into real-world sales.
