Ready for the last #SteamSpotlight feature for July 2022? We sure are!
We've featured a number of horror games here on #SteamSpotlight and, well, there's no such thing as too many horror games, we believe. Needless to say, we're shining the spotlight on another game from the genre for today's feature.
Many horror games involve the element of survival and today's feature is no different. But how exactly can you survive a horror game when all you have is an instant camera?
Let us tell you more about today's #SteamSpotlight feature, MADiSON.
#SteamSpotlight Feature: MADiSON
Developed and published by BLOODIOUS GAMES, MADiSON was released just this month, specifically on July 8. This very new game falls under the psychological horror genre and involves you playing a character named Luca.
According to the game's official website, your character suddenly finds himself locked in a dark room with his hands covered in blood. You soon find out that you're being held captive by a demon named MADiSON. Unfortunately for you, MADiSON forces you to take part in a ritual that started decades ago and this ritual forces you to do horrible things.
Now the question is, will you make it to the end of the ceremony?

Your Best Friend, the Instant Camera
MADiSON doesn't give you multiple guns or melee weapons to take down the demon holding you against your will. Instead, well, you get an instant camera. Believe it or not, you can use the camera to either survive the torture you're going through or even dive deeper into what's going on.
You have to manually take the photos yourself and you need to have them developed in order to find the truth regarding what's happening. You're also free to search everything and to interact with objects as this can save you from the entities.
If you think MADiSON the demon is the only character you have to worry about in this game, think again. There are other characters you will encounter while playing and it's advised that you be careful with every move. Don't simply go snap happy with your camera and end up attracting unwanted attention.

Steam Reviews for MADiSON
MADiSON has more than 600 user reviews as of press time, according to its Steam page. You should note that the game was just released this month before you dismiss it for having too little reviews. The reviews it does have as of writing are generally described as "Very Positive" by the platform.
A Steam user who goes by the username Denamo rates the game's graphics as beautiful, its gameplay and audio as very good, its difficulty as easy to learn but hard to master.
Another Steam user who goes by the handle Quaestio describes MADiSON in a review as a "puzzle heavy walking simulator that manages some really good scares and settings while avoiding frustrating chase scenes."
