Specifically, this series shines the spotlight on professional eSports players as well as other notable gaming personalities, YouTubers, and streamers.
So far, we've featured Dota 2 and Valorant players and even a VTuber! For today's feature, we're focusing on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player olofmeister.
Many CS:GO fans regard him as one of the best players of all time and his trophies and achievements are a reflection of the talent and skill that he has. However, his career has been plagued with multiple instances of inactivity due to different reasons.

Olof Kajbjer Gustafsson is a Swedish professional eSports player better known to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive fans as olofmeister. He actually got into Counter-Strike after suffering a knee injury while playing football as a teenager. Prior to injury, he was very active in the sport.
According to his profile on GosuGamers, olofmeister used to play Counter-Strike 1.6 before transitioning to Global Offensive. His profile on FaZe Clan's website states that the first game he played as a kid is Counter-Strike 1.3.
He previously played for teams such as H2k, Absolute Legends, and LGB eSports. It was his time with LGB that is often seen as the beginning of his rise to fame.
olofmeister has played in a total of 16 Majors and won 23 notable trophies, according to HLTV. ProSettings.net lists down his preferred settings, crosshair, skins and more, which can be found here.
olofmeister's Three Years with Fnatic
Anyone who's paid attention to olofmeister's career would know of his legendary three-year stint with Fnatic. Per HLTV, he was with the team from July 2014 to July 2017.
It was during his time with Fnatic, "he won two majors; ESL One: Katowice 2015 and ESL One: Cologne 2015, among numerous other international tournaments and was named the best player in the world in 2015," according to GosuGamers.

olofmeister in Action
As of press time, olofmeister has been a member of FaZe Clan since 2017 where he plays the role of rifler. According to HLTV, he is a benched player as of writing. He has won 10 events with FaZe Clan, although he has yet to win a Major with the team.
GosuGamers lists Aim_map, de_inferno, de_cache, and de_cobblestone as his best maps. On the other hand, de_Vertigo, de_ancient, de_train, and de_nuke are his worst maps.
