Open-world video game Genshin Impact unveils the latest preview teaser of its new map Sumeru, a land inside the fantasy world called Tevyat that is yet to be shown to the public.
In its latest Youtube video, Genshin Impact shows its fans a glimpse of this mysterious new area. Genshin Impact describes this new part of the game as the 'realm of dust and sand' and where we can hope to find 'secrets hidden in the rain and sand.'
Genshin Impact developers went all out with creating the new area, as seen with its fine details and how they realistically implemented the design. Any adventurer will be compelled to explore this new land and discover all the secrets that it has yet to show.
Simply based on aesthetics, the upcoming update looks amazing, and this appears to be by far the greatest location in the game.

The new region of Sumeru is characterized by green and lush flora and clean flowing streams. At a glance, Sumeru looks like a tropical jungle, with tangling vines and thick tree canopies. As the video went on, it showed even deeper parts of a forest consisting of large types of flowering plants and massive mushroom-like structures.
Previously, Genshin Impact has already confirmed adding three new characters to the game along with its much-anticipated August 3.0 update. Two of these new characters have already been revealed to wield the Dendro element, a new element in Genshin that is based on grass-type powers.
Before this preview teaser, Hoyoverse previously released another preview video that introduced the Fatui Harbingers. In the game, the Fatui Harbingers are a group of powerful entities that usually causes chaos in Tevyat. Every now and then, they would challenge the Traveller within quests and would sometimes cause some serious trouble. In the said trailer, this group of villains is speculated to be brewing something hideous.

In a video from the game's developer, they described Dendro as driven by catalysis, wisdom, and life. These concepts that the developers introduced are said to also reflect on certain game mechanics and design.
As the August update is near, more and more leaks are springing up at the moment. In a report, GN24 mentions several interesting rewards for Sumeru. In the new update, reputation is based on special points for completing tasks in Sumeru, which is rumored to have 23 Beta quests at the moment. Also, exploring the new region will involve a lot of resurrection, solving puzzles, and opening a lot of teleportation points.
Genshin Impact peaked in its popularity in 2020, with millions of players hooked by its whimsical yet exciting storyline-based gameplay. To this day, the game goes bigger and bigger and continues to feature cool characters and quests every now and then.
