#SteamSpotlight Feature: Timberborn
Developed and published by Mechanistry, Timberborn was released on September 15, 2021. It is a city-building game that, as we previously mentioned, features no human characters at all. Instead, you have beavers.
According to the game's Steam page, there are two beaver factions in the game. The first faction is the the nature-friendly Folktails and the second faction is the industrious Iron Teeth. Each faction has its own unique gameplay traits and buildings.
However, please do note that, as of press time, Timberborn is still listed as an Early Access Game on Steam.

Other Things You Have to Know about Timberborn
So what else can you expect from Timberborn aside from the fact that it is a city-building game and all the building is done by beavers? According to the official website of Mechanistry, you can expect a whole lot of "unique architecture system, wooden machinery, dams and water physics."
You will have to use a vertical architecture system when building your city as space is pretty limited. Given that you are dealing with beavers, there is a lot of timber going around, which you can use to build machines. Still keeping in mind that you are dealing with beavers, you will also have to build water dams and canals and learn how to redirect rivers.
Timberborn also features wet and dry seasons as well as a day and night cycle, which all have an effect on how you and your beavers build the city.
The game also lets you create your own maps to share with the rest of the community.
