A lot of people will have their own opinions about which are the best Fortnite skins to ever release this year so far. But while that is true, one thing is for certain: Epic Games does have a knack for producing great skins, whether it's from a collaboration with other brands or not.
Here is a short list of the best Fortnite skins in 2022 so far, but take note of one thing: the list isn't arranged by ranking. So don't go starting a flame war over it, as none of these skins is basically better than another.
Without further ado, here they are!
Obi-Wan Kenobi
The finale of the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi has come and gone, and it has basically done the impossible: make Star Wars fans (well, most of them) happy. Fortnite and Star Wars has always had amazing collaborations in the past, and this one is just another piece that will make a fine addition to anyone's collection (see what we did there?)
This Obi-Wan Kenobi skin is patterned after Ewan McGregor's appearance in the Disney+ series and can be bought from the store for 1,600 V-Bucks, writes GameRant. It serves as a reminder that Star Wars is now Star Wars once again, even if it does hit you in the feels (if you watched the finale, you'll know what we mean).
Blanka
Street Fighter is once again in vogue after Capcom's announcement of Street Fighter 6. As such, the release of the Blanka skin was received quite well by fans. Players got two skins to choose from: one is his iconic original look from the classic games, and the other is of him sporting a dapper suit and sunglasses with his hair tied up.
As per CharlieIntel, you can get the Blanka skin with 1,600 V-Bucks in the store to celebrate the announcement of SF6 - and celebrate the 35th anniversary of the legendary fighting game franchise, of course.

Scarlet Witch
Fresh off her stirring (and frankly, gory escapades) in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, Wanda Maximoff brings her Chaos Magic to Fortnite as the latest and most powerful version of the Scarlet Witch. The skin is faithful to ELizabeth Olsen's look at the end of Wandavision and the latest Doctor Strange film, and comes with a few more goodies.
She gets a cloak that glows with Chaos Magic whenever she deals damage to enemies, a Chaos Hand Axe pickaxe, and the Psychic Energy Manipulation Emote (via Epic Games). And for those who buy the skin bundle, they even get access to a new loading screen showing Wanda and Strange coming through the Mirror Dimension.
Ezio Auditore
At this point, Ezio Auditore is as iconic of a video game character now as somebody like Mario or Sonic is. The skin is based on Ezio's look from Assassin's Creed 2 and comes with an emote that makes him flick his iconic dual Hidden Blades - which you can actually use as a melee attack.
While you're not exactly able to parkour all over The Island as the legendary Italian assassin, you are, however, able to just deal with your enemies with unparalleled style.
Darth Vader
Closing off this list is the Dark Lord Of The Sith himself: Darth Vader, who was revealed with a trailer re-enacting his badass moment in Rogue One:
You can see in the trailer just how terrified those characters are facing down the Skywalker in a hallway - something you should never, ever do. And the terror in their faces is accurate: they should be terrified of Vader. Everyone is! The only slight drawback is that one of the best Fortnite skins for 2022 is hidden behind the battle pass wall.
