Popular content creator MrBeast has agreed to lock horns with Twitch streamer Ninja in a League Of Legends tournament - but one that has a prize pool as big as that of many ESports competitions out there.

The prize (or wager, rather) in MrBeast and Ninja's showdown is a cool $150,000, reports DotESports. It is scheduled for July 9th at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, where the two internet stars will battle in a best-of-three League Of Legends match. It was MrBeast that actually offered to challenge the Twitch streamer and former Halo 3/Halo Reach pro, eventually confirming that Ninja has accepted the offer.
In response, the popular gamer/streamer posted a message sharing in the excitement and calling the YouTuber out: "It's game time MrBeast! You don't stand a chance. See you in Vegas!"

All of this posturing actually started earlier in the month. It began with MrBeast teasing that he'll be hosting a LoL tournament in the future, with his post also taking potshots at Ninja saying he's "awful" at the game (via SportsKeeda). To this, Ninja would reply with a question" "Do you know how bad MrBeast is at League Of Legends?" as well as saying he would never lose to the YouTuber at anything.

Of course, the two internet celebrities can't really hold a tournament without an entire team. So it would make sense that they'd take in a few of their well-known fellow content creators, which could potentially include Tyler "Tyler1" Steinkamp (a well-known League Of Legends) player, Imane "Pokimane" Anys, and maybe Felix "xQc" Lengyel," among others.

Who Wins Between MrBeast And Ninja?
There seems to be not a lot of videos showcasing MrBeast's experience in competitive gaming, making it tough to gauge his overall skill in League Of Legends. But there surely is a lot for Ninja, which bodes well for his chances in the $150K tournament.

According to MasterClass, He began his gaming career competing in Halo 3 and Halo Reach tournaments in 2009, before eventually playing for professional teams including Team Liquid, Cloud9, and Renegades. By 2011, he launched his YouTube channel streaming popular games like PUBG, but eventually blew up for his fast-paced, energetic Fortnite gameplay by 2017 (the year Fortnite released).
From there on out, his career soared even higher. He broke the record for the most ever viewers in one Twitch stream in march of 2018, for one. His notoriety was even enough to allow him to play several rounds of Fortnite with hip-hop superstar Drake, with the stream attracting a peak concurrent viewer count of 628K.
But perhaps all of Ninja's experience advantage against MrBeast will come out of the window come July 7th - they do still have to form a team after all.
