Two potential job listings for the still-unannounced Ghost Of Tsushima 2 that might hint at the inclusion of multiplayer - and it looks more or less similar to how the first game handled it.
According to a report by PlayStationLifestyle, the listings are calling for a new AI Systems Designer, a Senior Multiplayer Mission Designer, and an Encounter Designer to join developer Sucker Punch Productions on a AAA "open-world game, with a particular focus on melee combat and stealth." If you ask any PlayStation fan, that sounds an awful like a Ghost Of Tsushima sequel.
The job descriptions for the listings go a bit deeper into what the game could have. The Senior Multiplayer Mission Designer, for instance, will be tasked with "building missions that combine challenging combat encounters and cooperative mechanics together with beautiful environments and engaging stories. But that's not all, as sources say these missions are designed to be replayable - while also clearly suggesting some sort of a co-op multiplayer instead of a competitive one.
Next up, the AI Systems Designer's job is to populate the game with "compelling characters," as well as "combat engagements via buddy NPC interactions." What this could mean is that the world of a potential Ghost Of Tsushima 2 will feel far more dynamic and alive than the first game, with random encounters that work pretty much like Red Dead Redemption 2's.
Last but not least, the Encounter Designer's job is to "deliver interesting and varied encounters." This could be combined with the AI Systems Designer's deliverables to, once again, make the open world a far more believable, lived-in place. All of the job listings are posted on Sucker Punch Productions' website.
The first Ghost Of Tsushima game was hailed as one of the best (if not the best) PlayStation exclusives of the past few years, breathing new life to the PS4 at the tail-end of its life cycle. It was praised for its amazing open world mechanics, engaging story, and implementation of melee combat combined with great stealth. It also came with co-op multiplayer in the form of the Legends Mode, where players are tasked to tackle missions based on Japanese mythology.
Ghost Of Tsushima is out now for the PS4 and PS5 worldwide.

Any Official Word On Ghost Of Tsushima 2?
There's no official word on the existence of the game yet. That's the empirical truth. However, Sucker Punch Productions seems to be pretty bad at keeping things under wraps, as the aforementioned job listings seem to clearly indicate that Ghost Of Tsushima 2 is now in development - presumably as an exclusive on the PS5.
You won't find a lot of any other information than this, however. But a potential Ghost Of Tsushima sequel has been hinted at for the past couple of years, with rumors first popping up in 2020. Either way, there's a chance that Sucker Punch won't announce the game for a few years more due to the job listings, which hint that the project is still in the very early development stages.
For now, Sony will be busy leading up to the release of a handful of PS5 exclusives for next year. This includes Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine.
