A dataminer working on Evil Dead The Game has hinted at several new characters and missions that might come to the game soon.
The aforementioned dataminer posted their findings on Twitter via the @LeaksOfSumeria page. According to them, there's a pile of unused assets that might refer to Deadites and Demons that the characters can already refer to via individual jokes/quips, but are still not in the game, as reported by GamesRadar. It is said that among these could be audio clips of the Survivors doing their one-liners after killing "Ruby."
Here is the Twitter post:
I put this together last night, was gonna post it today, but I was beat to it 😔. The video's pretty much the same, except there's 2 voicelines for Kelly in there.#EvilDeadTheGame #edtgleaks #leaksofsumeria https://t.co/jpYfOWqjqf pic.twitter.com/DbOrmcMCax

The 23-second clip features voice clips from all Survivors, but Ash and Kelly were the only ones that got two lines. Everybody else only got a single line. For the uninitiated, Ruby Knowby is the overarching antagonist of the original Evil Dead film franchise, and was also the main villain of the spinoff TV series Ash vs Evil Dead.
Ruby is not in Evil Dead The Game as of the moment. But if this leak proves accurate, then she might be coming alongside a slew of other post-launch content.
Speaking of post-launch content, the Evil Dead game dataminer also said that they may have uncovered hints to new weapons. This reportedly includes a harpoon, a minigun, and a flamethrower - which could all be amazing add-ons to use against the hordes of enemies players encounter.
To cap things off, there are hints of a new mission that's only titled "Adios Eligos." This translates to "Goodbye, Eligos," with Eligos being a so-called "Demon of the Mind" in the Ash vs Evil Dead series.
Ruby's omission from the final Evil Dead The Game release might have been weird for some people, considering she was an integral part of Ash vs Evil Dead, writes The Gamer. Her purported addition could finally make things feel a bit more right, more so for long-time fans of the franchise.

Evil Dead The Game's Success At A Glance
With how successful Evil Dead The Game turned out to be, it makes sense that developer Saber Interactive would want to keep it updated with new content. As some people might say, they need to strike while the iron's hot.
The new big-budget Evil Dead game proved to be one of the fastest-selling games of the current generation - if not the fastest, that is. It managed to sell half-a-million copies within the first five days of its launch. This number is quite astounding, since some of the biggest AAA games never even come close to that within the same short span of time.
Saber Interactive also managed this feat despite having to delay the game from an original 2021 release window. It might have proved to be one of the best decisions they made, as Evil Dead The Game turned out to be well-reviewed by major game publications:
