Fallout 4 is a game that keeps on giving even almost seven years on. And now, it's getting an insanely massive mega-mod that aims to expand the game's scope even more.

The aforementioned mod will take players from Fallout 4's post-apocalyptic rendition of Boston into London, and will be aptly named Fallout 4 London. The mod, according to GameRant, is set to give players a so-called "traditional" Fallout experience while being set in a new city that looks built from the ground up.
A substantial 18-minute gameplay reveal was just uploaded detailing what the Fallout 4 London mod is set to offer, and it looks mighty interesting at first glance:
As you can see there, the mod even comes with its own London-ized version of a Fallout splash screen on the main menu, which is obviously patterned after a London Underground logo. But that's not where the presentation ends.
When you start a new game, you will be greeted by an intro that details what happened to the UK in general during the events of the Fallout franchise - which for so many years has only been set in the continental United States. It is complete with an extremely well-acted voice over, which starts with the same iconic line: "War, war never changes."
The gameplay starts with the creation of the character called the Wayfarer, who is being examined by a bunch of scientists in a dilapidated-looking vault. Unlike so many other Fallout 4 mods out there, the NPCs are fully voice-acted and don't sound out of place at all, which is a very nice touch that further adds to the immersion.
It seems to be that the player's first mission is to escape the "vault" into the big open space that is post-apocalyptic London. It looks amazing based on the 18-minute showcase, but you'll have to wait a bit considering the Fallout 4 London mod still doesn't have a definitive release date.

More Details About The Fallout 4 London Mod
On the mod's website, the modders shared a lot of great details about it, which puts into perspective the scale of the entire project. Here is their official description of the project:
"Fallout: London is an ambitious DLC-sized mod that brings the player into th nuclear apocalypse all the way to the doorsteps of Parliament. The mod encapsulates the gritty, adventurous nature of the Fallout games with a new world, factions, storylines, NPCs, weapons, creatures, and much more. This all comes together in a package tied with a uniquely British bow."
The modders say that the mopd features a "condensed version" of the UK capital with a focus on including all the main boroughs. It is described as about the same size of the Commonwealth area in the main game, and will include well-known boroughs like Westminster as fully explorable areas.

Other details also clearly indicate that this is going to be a brand-new experience. There will be no familiar factions present within London, as new factions are going to be introduced. Aside from that, the mod will also have somewhat like a British version of the Vault Boy, alongside other new elements that aren't found in all other Fallout games that have been set in the US.
To install and play the mod, you will have to own the base game complete with all DLCs. Either way, this seems to be shaping up to become one of the best Fallout 4 mods to date.
