Disney Dreamlight Valley, a life-sim adventure game being developed by Gameloft, is scheduled for release next year. The game is a free-to-play game that will be playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and more.

Disney Dreamlight Valley to Release in 2023
Disney Dreamlight Valley is scheduled for released next year. According to the announcement posted on the blog site of PlayStation, the game "is all about giving players the chance to live a magical life alongside iconic Disney and Pixar characters."
As you may have already guessed, the game is set in Dreamlight Valley, which you as the player are tasked with saving as it has turned into a very desolate place. Along the way, you will get to explore realms that are inspired by famous Disney and Pixar worlds as well as meet your favorite movie characters, whose memories you will help recover.
The announcement on the PlayStation blog site points out that Disney Dreamlight Valley features a story-driven campaign. Each character that you meet will have their own story arcs as well as friendship goals.
As the game is also a life-sim, you will get the chance to prepare some food at Dreamlight Valley's restaurant or even go fishing.

A Custom Disney Experience
The announcement also highlights how the game will give you the chance to customize and personalize not just your character, but Dreamlight Valley as well.
According to the announcement, you have the option of trying on the hundreds of clothing options available in the game or even try your hand at designing your own clothes yourself. You can likewise decorate both your home and the village itself to your liking.

Early Access Launch This Year
As previously mentioned, Disney Dreamlight Valley's official release is set for next year. Per an article by IGN, the free-to-play game will launch on the following consoles and devices:
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series X/S
- Nintendo Switch
- PC and Mac via Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and the App Store
However, you do not want to wait until next year to try out the game, it will be released on Early Access this summer. It should be noted that it "will be made available to those who purchase a Founder's Pack, or any Xbox Game pass members."
