PlayStation unintentionally leaked a major update for the PS5 controller that might spell a lot of changes for PC users. According to the reports, Sony might soon roll out an option for the gamers to update the controllers on their computer or Mac.
PS5 PC Support Leak
For PS5 players, there's no known way to update a controller on your computer or Mac. However, PC users are hoping that this feature will be available soon on Sony's next-gen gaming console.
Even though the DualSense controller has undergone a series of updates for the extra improvement, the video game giant has not yet come up with the idea of changing it.
According to Techradar, the most updated PlayStation leak could be the head start of the potential PC support for the controller.
It should be noted that ResertEra was able to grab a copy of the now-removed license agreement about the wireless controller.
The saved document, which can be viewed on the Google Cache tackles, noted that the "Firmware Updater" will apply to both Windows and macOS app versions.
Before this deleted post came out, some players expected that Sony would introduce a PC adapter for the PS5 controller. The closest resemblance to this wireless accessory is the previously-released DualShock 4.
As we know, you can connect your PlayStation 5 controller through Bluetooth, but only if your computer supports it. In case the wireless connection doesn't work, you will be forced to stick to the wired one.
Although many PS5 exclusive games have already entered the market this year, it's shocking to think that Sony has not yet rolled out any updates for its PS5 controller.
Many games which are playable on the console are also available on PC. At this point, it's noteworthy to mention that players only want what's best for them since they could benefit a lot from PC support.
Revamping the current features that DualSense contains could be the missing link here. If the gaming giant is serious about bringing out a PC support for DualSense, it will all make sense for the PlayStation 5 owners who are longing to add this update to their computers.
