"Dota 2" teams are becoming more unpredictable. The current meta favors the fast team that relies on early pushes and skirmishes. One of the most star-studded squads dominating the game right now is Boom Esports.
The team that hailed from South East Asia has recently pocketed the grand prize at the Gamers Galaxy 2022. It was indeed a shocking win since no one expected that to happen. The SEA crew even gained a fan-like in the case of "BuLba" or Kanishka "Sam" Sosale, the current coach of Evil Geniuses (EG).
Here's what he says regarding the prestigious success of Boom Esports.
Bulba is Happy With Boom's Recent Success
Despite coaching a North American-based team in "Dota 2," it's no big deal for BuLba to leave a comment on the performance of another team from a different region.
During a post-interview following EG's successful run during the NA DPC 2021-22 Tour 2: Division 1, BuLba shared his insights about a team from Southeast Asia.
According to AFK Gaming, the veteran coach praised the team's effort in overcoming the odds against more powerful teams in "Dota 2." He said it served as their motivation to win their succeeding games.
"I was super happy to see BOOM win that tournament. That was really motivating for me to watch. It's not just because of the way they played or the Dota they played. It's like - seeing their personalities and even our new team, we have different players from so many different regions now," the EG coach said.
Aside from praising Boom Esports, BuLba also wanted to commend The Cut, a young "Dota 2" team which has a lot of potentials to bloom. Just a fun fact--it's one of the few teams that have gone close with EG during the Tour 2.
For BuLba, these teams deserve a lot of respect since they have shown a huge improvement from being nothing to a dark horse squad.

BuLba Looks Forward To More NA 'Dota 2' Teams
In a similar report, BuLba also mentioned that he is excited to search for more "Dota 2" players who will wave the flag for the North American region. He sees this as a breakthrough that needs to happen because a lot of promising players came from China and Southeast Asia.
BuLba said that it's hard to find new talent in North America because the majority of players from DPC are international gamers. He admitted that he has no idea about the exact numbers of NA-based players, but he guessed that their region has the lowest number of "Dota 2" players if it will be compared to China, SEA, Russia, and Europe.
So far, Evil Geniuses continue to impress their fans with their unpredictable gameplay. Aside from them, TSM and Quincy Crew are also runner-ups in the "Dota 2" NA ladder.
