Microsoft Flight Simular is officially here and it will bring players to many of the well-known places in Europe. Specifically, the update focuses on Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, and Andorra.
To coincide with the arrival of the new update, a seven-day sale has also been announced. The sale, which features discounts up to 54%, is available from March 25 to 31, 2022.
Microsft Flight Simulator World Update VIII
Micrsoft Flight Simulator has released its World Update VIII, which features locations in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, and Andorra. The update is free for all owners of the game.
According to the announcement by Xbox, this European region "has been enhanced with a variety of new, high resolution geographic improvements, including elevation data, photogrammetry, and aerial imagery for a stunning experience."
The update likewise includes other exciting additions to the game. First, four handcrafted airports have been added to the game. Per the post on the Microsoft Flight Simulator website, these are:
- LESU - La Seu d'Urgell Airport
- LPPI - Pico
- LPFR - Faro
- LECO - A Coruna
The following discovery flights have also been added:
- Barcelona
- Coimbra
- Gibraltar
- Lisbon
- Madrid
In addition, there are also five new landing challenges, which are as follows:
- Bilbao (Famous)
- Girona (Famous)
- Leon (Epic)
- Pico Airport (Strong Wind)
- Portimao (Epic)
100 handcrafted points of interest (POIs) have likewise been added thanks to the World Update VIII. These POIs include iconic landmarks in the region such as Basílica De La Sagrada Família, Camp Nou, Lisbon Harbour Control Tower, and Royal Palace of Madrid.
