Gun Interactive made a quick reveal of the survivors for the new "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" game.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the classic horror movie-turned video game will introduce the iconic villains of the franchise. Aside from them, their family members will also be brought to the spotlight.

Gun Interactive unveiled the characters who will play as the victim of Leatherface and company. Interestingly, Gun wrote that Kane Hodder would play a popular chainsaw slasher.

At the time of writing, the developer has not yet disclosed the details about his family members. However, there's a new announcement regarding the "victim" characters.

"A group of five young adults led by Ana Flores set out to search for her missing sister. What they found was terror beyond their wildest nightmares," the game developer teased.

As written on the official website of "The "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" game, Ana's friends, namely Sonny, Connie, Julie, and Leland, will arrive in the game upon its launch in late 2022.

Gun Executive Producer on 'Texas ChainSaw Massacre' Victims

Regarding the survivors who will be entering the horror game, Gun Interactive Executive Producer Ismael Vicens said he thought about the people who visualized the "victim" characters in the game.

He wondered if people would like each of their personalities since this would leave an impressive legacy in the game.

"We wanted a diverse group of friends that would - surface level - strongly correlate to differing playstyles. Thinking about those relationships (Who is better friends with who? Why are these two friends?) helped us to create a group that feels natural together, even if they're very different from one another," Vicens said.

He continued that the four individuals in a team should cooperate for a common goal: defeat Leatherface and his squad. Moreover, Vicens added that the strongest tool in the team is "cooperation." This would dictate if the whole squad succeeded or not during the chase.

'Texas ChainSaw Massacre' Will Be a Unique Game

PC Gamer wrote in its previous report that the upcoming multiplayer horror game will not be like "Dead by Daylight" and "Friday the 13th." Gun Interactive will be making a huge move for this game.

Instead of the usual format of having a single killer and more than three survivors, "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" will have three killers and four survivors.

Per Wes Keltner, CEO of Gun Interactive, the company did not want to create the same game for the second time. That's why they came up with this unique idea of adding a twist to the old format.
