Although there are allegedly nine Legends who will arrive in "Apex Legends," Newcastle received the most attention from the game's fans.
At first, he was believed to be arriving in the Season 4 version of the game. However, this did not happen as Reswapn Entertainment decided to release Synthetic Nightmare instead.
Newcastle's Gameplay, Abilities, and Release Date
Since Newcastle is a Support Legend, he is expected to play less actively compared to other characters. As of press time, various videos of his gameplay are being leaked.
Some of them suggest that Newcastle can also be a front since he can create shields, allowing his teammates to stay safe when there's a sudden flanking.
On the other hand, other videos show that the best thing he can do is stay in the backline so he can properly support his teammates.
Here are his specific abilities:
Newcastle's Ultimate (Castle Wall)
When he uses this skill, he will leap or slam to a target ally or area. After that, a fortified stronghold will be created.
Newcastle's Tactical (Mobile Shield)
The new Legend character can also summon a drone that creates an energy shield. He can control this drone to move the energy protection.
Newcastle's Passive (Retrieve The Wounded)
What makes Newcastle's passive skill exciting is that he can move or drag his downed allies as he revives them. Aside from this, he can also protect them with the Revive Shield.
Right now, the exact release date of Newcastle is still not confirmed. However, some fans of the shooting title claimed that Respawn Entertainment will release him once the new "Apex Legends" Season 13 arrives.
