Elden Ring players now have the option to play on easy mode and hard mode. These options are all thanks to the modders of the game.

Elden Ring's difficulty is already considered very hard by many players and now there is an option to make it much easier or even harder than it already is.
According to a report by PC Gamer, a mode called Easy Mode for Elden Ring is exactly what it says it is.
"It reduces received damage by 50%, but it also adds a 25% damage buff to the player character, while also boosting rune acquisition by 10," the report says.
On the other hand, if you find the game too easy or just right and you want to challenge yourself even more, there is also a mod for that. It is called Prepare to Die (Hard Mode).
Per PC Gamer, "It boosts the damage, defences and resistance of enemies up to NG+ levels-approximately quadrupling them-while leaving their health, focus and stamina levels the same."
The hard mode mod is also said to have boosted the enemy AI, which will perhaps force players to play more stealthily in order to survive.

According to a previous report here on GameNGuide, it is actually possible to pause the game. Many players have been complaining about the lack of the option to pause Elden Ring, but a player has figured out a way to do so.
So how do you pause Elden Ring? All you have to do is open "Menu Explanation" while on the inventory screen. That is pretty much it.
If you are wondering how to get to the inventory screen to begin with, all you have to do is to press the corresponding key, which is the start button if you are playing on a console and the ESC key if you are on PC. After that, simply choose the "Help" option.
