'Elden Ring' Is Hiding A Coliseum Which Players Assume Could Be For PvP

Hidden 'Elden Ring' Coliseum Gets Players Excited For Arena PvP

"Elden Ring" still proves to be one of the biggest game launches in recent memory with how it has hogged much of the gaming world's headlines since release. But this time, its players just got even more excited for a still-unconfirmed "feature," if you may call it that.

Here's where you can find one of the most famous weapons in "Elden Ring," the Uchigatana Kitana.

Renowned "Souls" dataminer and leaker Lance McDonald says that he just discovered a "hidden coliseum" within the game's map while also posting directions on how to get there, as reported by WCCFTech. Here is an unlisted video posted by McDonald on his YouTube channel recently, showing the incredible find:

Basically, what you see there seems to be some sort of a gladiatorial arena that players can't normally access in-game. Most of the commenters are assuming two things: that it could be a potential boss arena, or it could be used for a future DLC where PvP multiplayer could be a thing.

For now, FromSoftware's multiplayer implementation is more co-op, where players can summon other players in the world to help them beat the game's various challenges (via PCGamer).

A future PvP multiplayer mode could be a great thing, considering previous "Soulsborne" games have already had them. Many fans consider "Dark Souls 3" PvP as the best in the series, followed by "Dark Souls 2," "Bloodborne," and the first "Dark Souls" as per this poll posted on the FromSoftware subreddit.

But whether the hidden coliseum will be used for PvP multiplayer is still up in the air. Not even McDonald is assuming anything, but the presence of the arena did get a lot of "Elden Ring" players excited, as per GamesRadar.

For now, FromSoftware hasn't announced any plans for DLCs at all. But maybe it's only a matter of time.

How 'Elden Ring' Multiplayer Works-And Why You Should Try It

As previously mentioned, "Elden Ring" only allows co-op multiplayer where players can summon each other, team up against bosses, and deal with the challenges of The Lands Between far easier than going at it alone.

Here's a short guide on how to defeat the elemental boss and Full Moon Queen Rennala in 'Elden Ring.'

If you haven't tried it but don't know where to start, it's definitely worth your time. Like any "Soulsborne" game, "Elden Ring's" bosses are far easier to tackle in teams because it's easier to get their attention with multiple players, as per PCGamer. For instance, one player will try to distract the boss while another heals a teammate close to dying, then attack from behind.

Another good reason to try "Elden Ring" multiplayer is how fast it can help you level up. You can do this by using a summoning pool or placing a summoning sign to enter the world of another player, where you can help them defeat a boss or clear a dungeon. It is easy to farm runes for every kill you make in co-op, and when you die, you don't lose your runes. Win-win.

The only problem is that "Elden Ring's" co-op isn't exactly easy to set up. But here is a guide courtesy of Gamers Heroes on YouTube so that you can get to adventuring with your friends online:
