Here's a short guide on how to defeat the elemental boss and Full Moon Queen Rennala in 'Elden Ring.'

According to an article from Sirus Gaming, Rennala is a sorceress who teaches her students about magic. She leads the Academy of Raya Lucaria for aspiring wizards. This explains why her attacks are vastly composed of elemental attacks.

While it's mentioned that she's a demigod, it's, in fact, her husband. She is known to be under the "Elden Ring" shard--that's why you need to stop her from doing so much destruction.

So far, FromSoftware has done a good job in creating Rennala. Her creative appearance and strength are what make her unique from the rest.

How to Search Rennala in 'Elden Ring'

Going to this boss is quite a difficult task. After riding the Raya Lucaria Academy elevator, you will need to defeat the Red Wolf before going to the elevator.

You will be dealing with a huge ball which can damage you a lot. Once you're done with this hazard, a shortcut will now be unlocked.

You will square off with a Carim Knight NPC, which is annoying due to his auto-parry skill. The best thing to do with him is lure him away from the elevator and plan a quick escape towards Rennala.

How to Beat Full Moon Queen Rennala

According to Dexerto, there are two phases you need to endure to defeat this gigantic sorceress.

Phase 1

For phase 1, you will be dealing with scary-looking children on the floor. They are wearing the so-called "sweetings" or graduation dresses.

Be careful of their appearance as they could throw spells at you. Although they appear harmless, their looks can be deceiving if you don't pay enough attention.

For this fight, you need to attack the sweeting with a golden aura. All you need to accomplish is destroying the aura. Rennala's shield will collapse as you break more of them.

When you see that Rennal is about to glow, move away from this aura. This attack can cause a lot of damage in just a few moments.

Once you succeed in lowering her health, the sweetings will shoot you with spells, so dodge it as-is. After her HP becomes zero, you will be transported to another dimension as part of phase 2.

Phase 2

For the second and last phase, don't rely on your magical skills. Instead, use close combat to deal with Rennala in "Elden Ring." Be aware that she can now summon spirit creatures such as Dragon and Bloodhound Knight.

After a few swipes, these spirit allies quickly disappear, so avoid engaging with them as much as possible and focus on Rennala. You can summon your own spirit creatures to deal more hits to her.

Remember that you need to finish her as soon as possible since her summoned monsters can overlap, and you will have difficulty dealing with them.

Once you defeat her, Rennala will become friendly once again. This means that she's no longer under the control of the Elden Ring Shard.

Once succeed, you will receive the Great Rune of the Unborn, Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen, and 40,000 Runes.
