Just yesterday I posted what Telltale was calling the launch trailer for The Wolf Among Us Episode 3: A Crooked Mile, despite the fact that the game still didn't have a release date. Given that, it was safe to assume it would be out soon, and now we know to expect the new episode next week.
Episode 3: A Crooked Mile will be out for PC and Mac worldwide on April 8, in addition to the North American PS3 release. The worldwide Xbox 360 and European PS3 versions will be available the next day, April 9. The iOS version of A Crooked Mile is coming next week as well, according to Telltale's Twitter account, but they did not give us an exact date.
The launch trailer has some potential spoilers in it if you're one who wants to keep the story entirely a surprise (and can spoil the first two episodes for you if you've yet to play them as the start of the trailer notes), but if you're a fan it should get you excited for the release without ruining anything major for you. The story continues following detective Bigby Wolf as he investigates a murder case and tracks down the main suspect, with other groups looking for the same individual getting involved.
A Wolf Among Us focuses on narrative, dialogue and player choice, much like all of Telltale's games. The studio struck gold with its The Walking Dead adaptation, and is currently working on a Borderlands game, as well as a highly anticipated Game of Thrones title.
