So you've got a Vita, but you're kind of frustrated at the lack of games. But you're not mad about the lack shooters and RPGs; no, you're mad about the lack of Nintendogs clones.
Well, lighten up, dude. Your prayers have been answered. PlayStation Vita Pets is coming June 3, and it's basically Nintendogs but with an attempt at a story.
"In the game you pick from four different puppies, each with their own personality, sense of humor and character traits," PlayStation Blog announced today. "Once you've gotten to know each other and learned the skills needed to venture outside the safety of your home you'll be able to embark (no pun intended) on the adventure of Castlewood Island and uncover the long lost legend of a king and his dog."
I would not have even realized that pun if they had not blatantly pointed it out. Anyway, let's see how excited the PS Blog masses are for this one:
"DOES THIS HAVE CORGIS?! I SWEAR IF THIS HAS CORGIS I WILL BUY IT DAY ONE." - redthehaze
"I think my dog would be pretty disappointed if I ignored him so that I could play this game instead. I'd also be pretty disappointed in myself for purchasing it." - T3DV0L70L1N4
And that has been your update on PlayStation Vita Pets for today.
In all seriousness, it seems like it could be a cute game for kids. And maybe adults who live in apartment buildings where magical puppies aren't allowed.
